LOUVRE is a casual sweater, which is meant to be worn slightly oversized with long and cozy sleeves. The Pyramid-pattern is surprisingly easy to knit with a stunning pattern-effect at the front. Stockinette back and sleeves add a simple contrast to the textural front.

Worked seamlessly from the top down.
A good project even for less experienced knitters.
The pattern creates automatically a longer bottom.
Sleeves have a little over length.
The pattern includes instructions for cowl neck or turtle neck as well as short or longer version.

LOUVRE ist ein wunderbarer Basic-Pulli für jeden Tag.
Topmodisch mit Struktur-Muster und im Rücken etwas längerer Form. Die gerade, weite Form macht ihn so bequem, die überlangen Ärmel geben einen zusätzlichen “Kuschel-Effekt”.
Von oben nahtlos gestrickt.
Das Muster ist erstaunlich einfach zu stricken und erzeugt automatisch einen längeren Rücken.

Material
Any yarn matching the gauge. I would recommend a smooth quality with a nice “halo”.
Hand dyed yarns might create an additional effect.
A special effect will be provided when using two strands of slightly differing colour. They even might be of differing quality or yardage. Just count the yardage of both together and divide by 4: the result should be somewhere between 90-100y.

Material
Jedes Garn, das zur Maschenprobe passt. Ich empfehle eine weiche, flauschige Qualität. Besonders schön wird der Effekt mit handgefärbtem Garn oder wenn zwei dünne Garne mit leicht unterschiedlicher Farbgebung gemeinsam verstrickt werden. Diese können auch verschieden stark sein, einfach die Lauflänge je 50m zusammenzählen und durch 4 dividieren; die Berechnung sollte ca. 85-95m ergeben.
