Love Blooms starts as a garter stitch boomerang shaped shawl that blossoms on one end into a delicate lace panel.

The body of the shawl is perfect for that special skein of variegated yarn, complemented with a semi solid yarn for the lace or perhaps you prefer your shawl in one colour.

Knit sideways, there are never more than 160 stitches on the needle, making this a quick and satisfying project for an adventurous beginner or more advanced knitter.

If knitting in 2 colours: use approx. 400yds (1 skein) for the main body of the shawl and 200yds for the lace panel.

Length: 153cm/60”
Maximum width: 70cm/28”
