This wreath is inspired by springtime with the arrival of colourful flowers and all their buggy visitors, and it will add a bright and breezy touch to your home. The wreath is decorated with flowers, a bee, butterfly, greenfly, ladybirds and caterpillar.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the wreath and insects are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The pattern is to cover a 25 cm diameter polystyrene wreath. The wings for the bee, fly and butterfly have a slipped stitch edge for a neater finish. The pattern incorporates a provisional cast on, picot cast on, and Kitchener stitch.
