Love Wins Socks
Thank you so much for everyone’s support of the PRIDE Socks ebook during June 2020, we were able to donate $300 to The Trevor Project!*
This pattern is currently available for purchase in the PRIDE Sock ebook with all 8 other patterns of the collection!
In the original Rainbow Pride Flag created in 1978, there were 8 stripes that each had a specific meaning; the pink stripe represents sexuality. When designing these socks the phrase love wins kept popping into my head so I set out to design a sock that I thought represented the beauty and unity of love. The Love Wins Socks features a beautiful heart cable that flows into a cascading cable down the leg and foot of the sock. This pattern is an intermediate level cable pattern that has written, charted, and video instruction.
Sizing
Choose the size that gives you 1-2” of negative ease.
Sizing is based on the circumference of the foot, not the length. To figure out the length of foot you need to knit, use the row gauge to calculate the number of rounds you will need to knit for your foot size subtracting 1.25”(1.25”,1.5”) for the toe, or try your sock on as you go!
S(M,L) – Circumference 8-9”(9-10”, 10-11”)

100 g fingering weight yarn.
Suggested Yarn
Retrosaria, Mondim: Pink (108), Sock Base 100% Portuguese Wool Non-Superwash 421 yard per 100 g.

I am a tight knitter and I’ve found that most knitters match my gauge by sizing down one needle size from my recommendation.
