If you have never made anything with the Lover’ Knot Stitch (also called Solomon’s Knot), you are in for a treat! Even as an experienced crocheted who had been croching for 30+ years, I had never tried it. I have to say at first, I could not undrstand any of the decriptions or diagrams of this easy stitch. I guess it was just the way it was decribed, but I finally found a good diagram and once I “got it”, I could not believe how incredibly easy and fun this stitch was! You will love it!

This poncho is made in 2 different triangle pieces and seamed at the shoulders. For a longer poncho, just keep adding rows. You could also crochet just 1 triangle piece and it will be a shawl! Or even a hip scarf! Add fringe for another look.
