This pattern was originally published in Mary Jane Mucklestone’s book Fair Isle Weekend. The book is available in 2 versions: in English and in Finnish.

Lower Leogh is a V neck sweater with a single band of Fair Isle patterning above the waistband. This classic style is updated with a boxy, loose fit with slim sleeves.

Lower Leogh (pronounced “Low”) is the crofthouse where
Fair Isle Studio, a creative arts residency, is situated. Mary Jane was a resident here in the fall of 2019, finishing up the knitting details of this knitwear collection.
