Luce Stellare
by Anne Hanson
This semi-sheer scarf sparkles with light due to a large proportion of negative-to-positive space. A concentration of decreases in some rows pulls the corresponding eyelets wide open, allowing the illumination of spidery star shapes with diamond outlines. The pattern is further enhanced by using a yarn which has some sheen or luster fiber content; this project is a good candidate for the addition of beads.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.
