Description: I thought it would be fun to have a seasonal pillow for the start of spring. I designed this pillow with overlays to button in place. One for the first part of March and one for after St. Patrick’s Day to welcome Spring.

Materials and Details

Worsted weight yarn.

Sample yarns listed by item
Pillow: 250 yards ww yarn. Sample - RHSS Parrot Stripe for one side and Turqua for the other side.
St Patrick overlay: 100 yards RHSS Soft White; Less than 50 yards each RHSS Green Tones, Light Blue, Cherry, Pumpkin, Bright Yellow, Spring Green, Turqua, Purple, Saffron, White, Paddy Green, Black
Spring overlay: 100 yards RHSS Soft White; Less than 50 yards RHSS Cherry, Pumpkin, Bright Yellow, Spring Green Turqua, Purple, Grape Fizz, Black

Crochet Hook: H (5mm)
Miscellaneous: Yarn needle for weaving in ends, 4 large (¾”) buttons, sewing needle, matching thread, stuffing
Optional: Pins to help with assembly
Gauge: Not needed for this project. Check measurements for comparison
Measurement: Pillow (stuffed) 14” x 10”, Overlap 12” x 6”

Materials and Details
Worsted weight yarn in a variety of colors. Sample: Hat - 100 yards RHSS Turqua; Brim and Clothes - 150 yards RHSS Spring Green; Mustache - 25 yards RHSS White; Beard - 50 yards RHSS Light Grey; Nose and Hands - 30 yards I Love This Yarn Light Peach; Shoes - 25 yards RHSS Black; Large Heart and one small heart - 30 yards RHSS Cherry; One small heart - RHSS Shocking Pink

Crochet Hook: H (5mm)

Miscellaneous: Yarn needle for weaving in ends, 1” D ring, pins for holding pieces in place during assembly, 3 large sew on snaps, stuffing for shoes

Gauge: Not needed for this project

Finished Measurements - 16” long x 9” wide at middle x 12” wide at the bottom edge.
