Lucky Sunflower mitts are a fingerless colour-work mitten pattern designed with the thought of cooler days in the late Summer/early Autumn when the Sunflowers are still growing but theres a slight chill in the air in the early mornings. Based on the Lucky sunflower sock` pattern, these mitts were made in collaboration with Lucy Locket Land and their hand dyed Exmoor sock yarn.

Size
1, (2) Two sizes can be obtained using different needle sizes. Recommended fit with no ease.
Wrist circumference: 18cm / 7” (19cm / 7.5”)
Knuckles circumference: 19cm / 7.5” (20cm / almost 8”)
Total length: 20cm , (21cm / 8.25”).
(Smaller or larger sizes can be achieved with smaller or larger needles sizes and/or thinner or thicker yarn).

Materials
Yarn: Lucy Locket land hand dyed fingering weigtht Exmoor Sock yarn – 60% superwash Exmoor Blueface, 20% superwash Falkland Corriedale, 10% Zwarbles and 10% nylon.
MC: Natural 40g
CC1: Yellow 25g
CC2: Green 10g

Needles:
Size 1: 2.5mm / 1.5 US 80 cm/32” circular needle for magic loop.
Size 2: 3mm / 2.5 US 80cm/32” circular needle for magic loop.
(or whichever size needle suitable for achieving gauge).
Notions: Stitch markers and tapestry needle.

Gauge for colourwork:
Size 1: 32 sts x 36 rnds to 10cm / 4”
Size 2: 30 sts x 34 rnds to 10cm / 4”
