Diamonds are the focus of Lucy, a saddle shouldered Aran style pullover. The diamond shape of the main panel is echoed in the diamond and moss columns and again in the
trellis panels. Because the neckline design depends on starting the decreases at a certain point in the chart, length adjustment is limited. The easiest way to adjust the length would be by changing the length of the ribbing. Alternatively, you could work additional complete repeats of the body chart on the back and front of the sweater. Each repeat will add about 6” to the length and require approximately 25% more yarn.

Lucy is charted and requires some advanced cabling skills. Cables are worked on both RS and WS rows. Complete instructions for the WS cables are provided. The front, back, and sleeves are worked flat then seamed. Then the collar is worked in the round.

S, M, L, and XL to fit chest sizes: 32-34, 36-38, 40-44, and 44-46 inches. Photos show size L.

Lucy was knit using KnitPicks Wool of the Andes Worsted in color Bare which is available in 100gm skeins. For sizes S (M, L, XL) you will need 7 (8, 8, 9) skeins. Note that Wool of the Andes Worsted Colors are available in 110yds/50gm skeins. If choosing another color you will need 14 (15, 16, 18) skeins.
