Luisa Shawl is a beautiful, cozy wrap that combines different textured stitches and a lovely flower lace motif.

Worked sideways with a bias construction, this arrow-shaped shawl has been designed for 1 main colour and 1 contrasting colour. Since it’s easily adjustable to your liking or the yarn/yardage you have available, you could also use more than one contrast colour if you like, or even make it in just the main colour only.

Multiple sections make this pattern a fun and engaging knit. The finished shawl adds a beautiful, eye-catching item to your favourite wardrobe staple.

Fully written row-by-row as well as charted instructions are provided so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

This pattern has been created in collaboration with WalkCollection and I had the pleasure to work with their wonderful “Merino Sport” for my sample.

I hope you enjoy the pattern!

SIZE OF SAMPLE
length without fringes: 190 cm / 74.75“
width: 53 cm / 20.5“
(length easily adjustable, the pattern also includes options for a narrow scarf version and a much wider wrap)

YARN
Designed for fingering to sport weight yarn in 1 main colour and 1 contrast colour (for one of the lace sections and some fringes). The sample used a total of approx. 1011 m / 1105 yds of a light sport weight yarn, but the pattern is easily adjustable for other yarn weights and/or yardages.
Yarn used for sample:
WalkCollection Merino Sport (sport sock weight, 100 g = 325 m / 355 yds), 2.86 skeins in colourway Stone (286 g = 929.5 m / 1016.5 yds) and 0.25 skeins in colourway Secret (25 g = 81.25 m / 88.9 yds)

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Not critical for this project but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size.
Gauge on sample: 20 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in stockinette stitch after light blocking
Needles used for sample: 3.5 mm / US 4
