Luminen
The Luminen pullover is knitted seamlessly from top down. It is started with the neckband and then the top of the pullover is shaped with raglan increases. There is a beautiful fan and feather lace pattern on the front, and even though it’s a very simple detail, the chunky yarn makes it look impressive. The lace pattern on the front has a 4-row repeat and it is even easy enough for advanced beginners. After finishing the raglan the sleeves and the body are knitted separately in the round.
The Luminen pullover was inspired by winter landscapes and the round forms created by drifting snow. Luminen is the Finnish word for “snowy”.
