Luna shawl

Wrap yourself in softness! Luna is a large, cozy shawl – perfect for throwing over your coat on cold and windy days, or for curling up with on the sofa when you’re relaxing indoors. The shawl is fun and simple to knit, and the diamonds take shape as you work your way down. We’ve knitted Luna in ultimate luxury: Önling No 1 held together with Önling No 10, giving you the softest and most delicious fabric. The hardest part will definitely be choosing which color to make your Luna Shawl in.

Measurements (after washed and blocked)

Height: approx. 85 cm / 33½ inches

Width (length across top edge): approx. 175 cm / 69 inches

Materials:

Color A: 150 g / 3 balls Önling No 1, 75% merino wool, 25% angora, 50 g = approx. 197 yards (180 meters), weight: DK / Worsted

Held togehter with

Color B: 75 g / 3 balls Önling No 10, 70% mohair, 30% silk, 25 g = approx. 230 yards (210 meters), weight: lace

Worked with two strands held together throughout.

Recommended circular needle 6 mm / US 10, 80 cm / 32 inches length

4 stitch markers

Gauge: 13 sts and 25 rows of stitch pattern on needle 6 mm / US 10 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Procedure 
The shawl is worked back and forth on a circular needle. It is started at the center back with a short i-cord. Increases are made along the edges and on both sides of the center stitch. You finish with an I-cord.
