Want to get your yarn and pattern at the same time? Luna Viridis is available as a kit from Luna Grey Fiber Arts!

Luna Viridis is a deeply textured cowl worked up in Luna Grey Fiber Arts’ gorgeous viridian green colorway. It begins as a semi-circular shawl with a Stockinette Stitch center worked flat, and is then joined and worked in the round to create a circular piece that mimics a shawlette wrapped around the neck. Little green crescent moons adorn the cowl, encircling the majority of it, and are separated by simple bands of Garter Stitch. Using just one skein of a pretty sock yarn, this is a fun knit, and a great way to add a pop of color and texture to any outfit.

Yarn requirements:
Luna Grey Fiber Arts Celeste (100% Merino); 400 yds/ 366 m per 100g); 1 skein in Veridian;
Or 400 yds/ 366m of a fingering weight yarn

Needle:
US 6 (4 mm) circular needle, 16-24”/ 40-60 cm long

Gauge:
24 sts & 30 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
24 sts & 42 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Lunar Crescent patterns
22 sts & 42 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Garter Stitch
Meeting these exact gauges is not crucial, but any major differences will affect the size of the finished cowl.
