Lacework summer tee for openwork lovers

Inspiration
The lace pattern is the main characteristic of this tee forming a wave-like pattern. It has a romantic inspiration for the hottest summer days.

Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5). A positive ease of 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 in) is recommended. These are final measurement of the tee after blocking:

• Bust circumference: 91 (100, 109, 118, 126) cm / 35.75 (39.25, 43, 46.5, 49.5) in
• Armhole depth: 19 (20, 21, 22, 23) cm / 7.5 (7.75, 8.25, 8.75, 9) in
• Total length: 49 (50, 51, 52, 53) cm / 19.25 (19.75, 20, 20.5, 20.75) in In the pictures I am wearing a size 2. I am 1,68 m (5ft, 6 in) tall and I normally wear S/ M size.

What do you need to know?
To knit and purl, simple increase and decrease and a double decrease.

Materials

• Yarn: I have used Katia Silk Cotton (50gr130m = 142 yds). I bought it in a local yarn shop but, unfortunately is a discontinued yarn. It can be replaced by a similar cotton or cotton/ silk mixture yarn – that fulfills the gauge requirements.
• Amount 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) 50 gr skeins/ Total in meter 500 (530, 610, 680,730)
• Other yarn suggestions - Drops safran/ loves you, Katia Capri
• Needles 4mm and 3mm – US 6 and 2.5
• Waste yarn or stitch holders
• Optional circular 3mm (US 2.5) needle for the collar

Gauge
In a 10 x 10 cm (4 inch x 4 inch) square you should have 18 stitches and 28 rows. Knit the swatch with the lace pattern and block it.

Construction notes
This tee is available in 5 sizes determined by the bust circumference. It should have a positive ease of 10-15 cm (4-6 in). It is knitted flat in 2 parts, front and back, from bottom to top following the lace pattern. Once both parts are knitted, the collar and armholes are finished with a picot edge.

Materiales

• Lana: Yo he utilizado Katia Silk Cotton (50gr- 130m). Es un hilo que está descatalogado y que compré en una mercería que estaba de cierre por jubilación. Con algún algodón o algodón – seda que cumpla la muestra podrás tejerlo sin problemas.
• Cantidad 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) ovillos de 50 gr/ Total en metros 500 (530, 610, 680,730)
• Sugerencias otras lanas: Drops safran/ loves you, Katia Capri
• Agujas 4mm y 3mm
• Imperdible o hilo adicional para dejar puntos en espera
• Opcional aguja circular de 3mm para cerrar el cuello

Tejido de Muestra
En un cuadrado tejido de 10 x 10 cm obtendrás 18 puntos por 28 vueltas con una aguja de 4 mm (la muestra está bloqueada). Es importante tener en cuenta el bloqueo, ya que al ser una prenda con calados su aspecto cambia mucho con el bloqueo y debe bloquearse.

Notas de Construcción
La prenda esta construida en dos partes, el delantero y trasero, tejidas en plano. Se teje desde abajo hacia arriba siguiendo el motivo que aparece en el gráfico.
Una vez tejidas las dos partes se remata el cuello y las sisas con un borde en picot.
