Size:
A finished earring measures 1.875 in. across, from ch-2-sp to ch-2-sp.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Materials Needed:
DMC Embroidery Floss
2.25mm hook
4mm jump ring (or your preferred size - 1 per earring)
7mm jump ring (or your preferred size - 1 per earring)
Leverback earring hook (or your preferred hook type)
Needle nose pliers (2 pairs preferred)
Scissors
Yarn needle
Yarn:
You will need approximately 7-8 yds. of embroidery floss per earring. The pattern provides 2 different color placement options, with 0.5-3.5 yds. of embroidery floss used per color.
You can find more specific information on the colors used and yardage amounts in the pattern.
Detailed instructions are given for Special Stitches.
This pattern also uses Starting and Standing Stitches in place of chains, with detailed instructions provided.
