When the snow’s falling and the north wind’s blowing, you need a sweater to curl up in by the fire and help you enjoy the season. To everything there is a season, and the art is to find the things that make it special to you.

The Lyra Sweater is a cozy garment, worked flat from the bottom up with a gently curved hem and a back that goes slightly lower than the front. It uses twisted stitches to create a woven texture that is very luxurious and knits up quickly on largish needles. The sleeves are worked in a similar fashion, and the cuffs and neck are finished with a narrow applied I-cord.
