The Lyss Toque DK is an updated version of the previous pattern. This version uses DK weight yarn, although a light worsted also works well with this pattern. It has a snug fit with a cozy folded brim to keep your ears extra warm. It looks great on it’s own, or with a pom-pom!

Sample 1 in the pictures (with the pom-pom) is knit up in Style 1 with the Snug Fit option. Sample 2 in the pictures (without pom-pom) is knit up in Style 2 with the extra slouch at the top.

US 4 / 3.5mm 16” circular needles
US 6 / 4mm 16” circular needles
US 6 / 4mm DPNs

Midknit Cravings - Comfort Sport/DK
85% Superwash Merino / 15% Nylon
100g = 246 yds (225 m)

Yardage:
Approx. 200 - 235 yds (182 - 215 m)

Weight:
Approx. 80 - 85g for Style 1
Approx. 85 - 95g for Style 2

Gauge:
30 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Cable Pattern, worked in the round on larger needles

Measurements:
Style 1: Stretches to fit 20” to 22” (51 - 53 cm) circumference
Style 2: Stretches to fit 21” to 23” (53 - 58 cm) circumference

Snug Fit: 11.5” (approx. 29 cm) from cast on edge to top of crown
Slouchy Fit: 12.5” (approx. 32 cm) from cast on edge to top of crown
