Macle is an unisex beanie for adults and kids.
Macle is knitted from bottom to top and begins with a tubular method whose detailed instructions are included in the pattern.
The ribbing brim is knitted with 2 colors and twisted stitches.
Then the beanie is knitted with a graphic colorwork pattern. The colorwork is fun and addictive, it allows to dare a lot of color combinations.

The pattern uses very little of the contrast color so you can easily use a mini skein or leftovers.

Sizes
finished measurements, head circumference:
child to adult (44, 52, 59) cm / (17.25, 20.5, 23)’’

Choose a size slightly smaller than your head size,
2 to 5 cm of negative ease.

Yarn
sport or DK weight yarn.

Show in Tartan 3 by Fonty (100% wool, 140m/50g), main color : TAR3 -2023, contrasting color : TAR3- 2036.

Gauge 
27 sts x 34 rounds = 10 cm /4 inches of Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking

Please note the whole pattern is knitted in circular, so it is preferable to realize a your gauge in round

Needles
• 3,5 mm US 4 circular needles.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Macle est tricoté du bas vers le haut en circulaire, il se commence par un montage tubulaire et se poursuit par un bord côte bicolore.
La suite du bonnet est tricotée en jacquard à deux couleurs inspiré de motif traditionnel géométrique.

Tailles
Tour de tête pour le bonnet terminé, enfant à adulte. T (44, 52, 59) cm.

Choisir une taille légèrement inférieure à votre tour de tête, 0 à 5 cm d’aisance négative.

Fil 
Nécessite une laine ou un mélange de laine de type Sport ou DK.

Le modèle de présentation a été tricoté avec les laines Fonty dans la base Tartan 3 (100% Laine, 140m/50g), couleur principale : TAR3 -2023, couleur contrastante : TAR3- 2036.

Métrage
• Pour la couleur principale : environ 140, 165, 190 m
• Pour la couleur contrastante : environ 20, 25, 32 m

Échantillon 
27 mailles x 34 rangs en jersey endroit pour un carré tricoté de 10 cm par 10 cm après blocage.

Matériel 
• Aiguille circulaire en 3,5 mm ou de la taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon.
• Aiguille circulaire en 2,75 mm pour la bordure en côtes.
