Madeira Shawl is a fingering weight, crescent-shaped shawl featuring Old Spanish lace stitch patterns such as the Madeira Cascade and Madeira Mesh, adding some exquisite, lacy charm to the shawl.
The shawl is worked bottom up, beginning with the lace border, followed by the mesh pattern and then knit into a crescent shape using short rows. The shawl is embellished with beads in the cast on and the bind off to add some glitter and sparkle to the piece.
