This is a lightweight cardigan, fitted and with a continuous lace panel, that adds in lightness and a beautiful drape. Is a perfect spring cardigan, made for relaxed walks in the sun now that the days are getting longer.

This cardigan is knit from the top down, flat and with raglan shoulder shaping. Starts with the lace neckline and then grows to form the sleeves and body with raglan increases. In the armholes sleeves are left on hold while knitting the body together with lace panels. Finally, the sleeves are knitted downwards, flat and sewed in the end with mattress stitch.

YARN: 7 (8, 9) balls of Rosários 4 Madragoa, colour 19 (50g/300m).
NEEDLES: 3,5 mm (if necessary, adjust the needle size to match the gauge).
NOTIONS: 6 stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 91 (102, 110) cm finished bust circumference
GAUGE: 30 sts and 38 rows - 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch with 3,5 mm needle.

Este casaco é tricotado de cima para baixo, em idas e voltas, começando pela barra rendada do decote e depois formando as mangas e corpo do casaco com aumentos em raglan. Nas cavas as mangas são deixadas em espera enquanto tricota o corpo do casaco, em simultâneo com a barra rendada. Depois tricotam-se as mangas em idas e voltas.
