9 (10, 10, 11, 11) (12,12, 13, 13) skeins of Cloud Gregoria Fibers (50g = 120 yards/110 m) (42% baby alpaca, 28% extra fine wool 30% cotton).
5 (5, 6, 6, 6) (6, 7, 7, 8) skeins of Kidsilk Lace Gregoria Fibers (25g = 230 yards/ 210 m) (73% superkid mohair, 27% silk).
The sweater is worked holding two strands of yarn together (one of Kidsilk Lace and one of Cloud).
For the sample we used one strand of Kidsilk Lace in colourway “Mauve” and one strand of Cloud in colourway “Wheat”.
NEEDLES
6 mm / US 10 circular needles, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for main body.
5 mm / US 8 circular needles, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for neckband and ribbing.
GAUGE
16 stitches x 22 rounds = 10 cm / 4” on 6 mm / US 8 needles in stockinette stitch in the round after blocking.
14,5 stitches x 24 rounds = 10 cm / 4” on 6 mm / US 8 needles in pattern stitch no.1 worked flat after blocking.
13 stitches x 14 rounds = 10 cm / 4” on 6 mm / US 8 needles in pattern stitch no.2 in the round after blocking.
