Magnolia Crescent Shawl
This shawl is knit from the bottom up in a crescent shape achieved through short row shaping. It has an easy to knit lace edge with the body of the shawl knit in stockinette stitch. It is perfect for knitting your first lace shawl. This shawl is perfect way to show off hand dyed yarn. Using only 400 yards of worsted weight yarn or one skein of sock yarn, this pattern is a quick knit.
Worsted Weight Version:
Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1” in stockinette st after blocking
Yarn Requirements: Western Sky Knits Magnolia Worsted (80% SW Merino/10% Cashmere/10% nylon) Two 4 oz skeins=400 yds. Shown in Crimson Night
Needles: US Size 9 32”+ circular needle.
Sock Weight Version:
Gauge: 4 sts = 1” in stockinette st after blocking
