Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 7 stitch markers (including one unique for beginning of round), crochet hook, felting needle, or sewing machine (for stabilizing steek stitches), tapestry needle.

Notes: Maia is an all-over colourwork drop shoulder pullover worked bottom up in the round, with steeks for the armholes and neckline. After steeks are worked and cut, shoulders are attached with a three needle cast off. Stitches are picked up in the round for sleeves and neckline.
