The inspiration for this blanket is the series of books ‘The seven sisters’. The blanket is knit in one piece including the border.
Each book is represented by its own 20 cm high strip in the blanket, which will be about 125 cm wide.
At this moment in time 6 books have been published. Book 7 is in the works. I chose the design to make the stripes between the strips the same width as the borders. That way it will be possible to eventually add part 7 by only unravelling the cast-off row.

Materials:
Scheepjes Softfun (60% cotton/40% acrylic)

• Denim nr. 2489, 700 gr.
• Lace nr. 2426, 200 gr. Presumably 150 gr. Denim will be needed additionally for part 7.

Alternative yarn:
Scheepjes Colour Crafter (100%acrylic)

• Oostende nr. 2005, 600 gr.
• Verviers nr. 2017,200 gr. Presumably 100 - 200 gr. Oostende wil be needed additionally for part 7.
