Maille is knit in our airy lace-weight Owlet, excellent for both texture and loft. Knit flat from the bottom up with the front panels wrapping around and meeting at the back of the neck, Maille’s sophisticated construction is surprisingly easy to do. The end result is a fresh and soft, yet structurally refined cardigan. A luxurious layering piece for every season!

construction
Cardigan is knit flat from the bottom up in one piece, then divided at the underarm to form the fronts and back. Back is continued to the top of the armhole, then bound off; the fronts are continued to wrap around and meet at the back neck, where they are joined together using a three-needle bind off and seamed to the back. Sleeves are picked up around the armhole and knit in the round to the cuffs.
