After running WEBS out of her basement, Barbara Elkins moved to 109 Main Street in Amherst in the early 80s. Knitting was very popular, especially in a college town like Amherst. Everyone wanted to knit Fair Isle sweaters. Fast forward, and here we are with our own lovely line of knitting yarns and a much bigger store. Now we have the beautifully designed Main Street Fairisle of our very own.
