Maize
Rustic beauty and seasonal charm define the Maize hat. This cozy beanie utilizes a clever mosaic crochet technique to mimic brioche ribbing, twisting into a leaf-like motif at the front of the hat. Linear’s silky-soft blend of alpaca and merino brings warmth, comfort, and a gentle marled effect to every stitch.

PATTERN NOTES
This hat is worked from the bottom up using mosaic crochet to achieve a brioche look. You will use one color at a time and alternate between post stitches and chains. The chains do count as a stitch in each round’s stitch count and instructions. Always work in front of chains when making post stitches.
This pattern uses U.S. crochet terminology.
