Pattern will be available in Knit Companion.
Making Waves is a quick and easy cowl with simple lace on a stockinette stitch base. Picture it with your favorite summer top and layered with your winter sweaters.
The asymmetrical cowl is worked sideways from end to end, with increases only on the neck edge. The cowl is seamed at the back neck to allow for easy blocking of the lace and for easy wearing too!
Making Waves is a great way to use up stash and leftover yarn and looks best in a yarn with little color variation.
There are two options included for the width of the lace panel on the cowl. Both options are the same size overall.
The pattern is written for fingering or sport weight yarn but can be made in any weight. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge and yarn choices.
This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
