Oldies but Goldies – It’s Time to Say Goodbye!

As you may know, I strive for perfection in both my knitting and pattern writing.

When I started 11 years ago, my pattern writing skills weren’t as developed as they are today. While these older patterns aren’t bad, they no longer meet my current standards and many are not size-inclusive.

This cardigan is an easy to knit seamless top down project.
The change in structure and colour makes it interesting and the Cabochons at the end of the yoke and at the jacket-cuffs will catch attention.
Pockets are worked as you go. No seaming necessary.
The pattern includes hints for adaptions of width and length.

Interessanter Struktur- und Farbwechsel durch die Verwendung von zwei Garnen.
Nahtlos in einem Stück von oben nach unten gestrickt, auch die Zier-Cabochons an der Passe und die Taschen werden gleich mitgearbeitet. Nach hinten versetzte Manschetten wie bei einem Sakko.

Two colours Merino, Alpaca, sock yarn or any other fingering or light sport yarn (ca.4-5ply) with a yardage of 185-210y/50g
Same quantity for both colours.
You may use yarns in differing quality and weight, in that case the sum should be about 80-90m (90-100y) / 50g (add the yardage of both yarns and divide per 4)

Total consumption ca: 1000-1100-1200-1300-1400-1550 m (1100-1210-320-1430-1540-1700y).
Circular needles ca. 80-100cm, (ca. 4-4,5mm, US 6-7) to obtain proper gauge, matching dpn’s, Stitch markers, 7 buttons

Hinweise für Adaptionen von Weite / Länge in der Anleitung

Zwei Farben Merino, Alpaca, Sockenwolle oder anders Garn je 170-190m/50g,
gleiche Menge von jeder Farbe Die Summe beider Garne sollte ca. 80-90m/50g ergeben (Lauflänge beider Garne zusammenzählen und durch 4 dividieren)
Verbrauch kann je Garn variieren.
Verbrauch gesamt: ca. 1000-1100-1200-1300-1400-1550 m (1100-1210-320-1430-1540-1700y).
Rundstrick-Nadeln ca. 80-100cm, ca. 4-4,5mm oder passend zur Maschenprobe
Maschenmarker, 7 Knöpfe
