These mittens from Malangen, Troms, Norway has strong ties to the area. The mittens have been knitted by a lot of people, in a lot of different ways. This is my version, that my grandmother Olaug have been knitting for a lot of years. I have rewritten it to make it available for sharing with you.

The mittens are now available in two sizes, male and female. Two languages, Norwegian and English.

The pattern has a written explanation for the parts that have no chart. Otherwise it has charts for the stranded knitting.
