Mamma Wolf Tee
A couple months ago I designed the Little Wolf Baby Sweater for a friend of mine who was expecting her first baby boy. It’s knit from the bottom up in the round with a raglan placket. Well….What about mom? The Mamma Wolf Tee was designed for my friend to look cute and almost match with the baby. Top down construction makes it convenient to try on as you go and waist shaping shows off those feminine curves! The raglan placket will help keep your hairdo in check when putting it on.
This is a pattern of choices….
the placket can be treated in a few different ways.
Use 6 buttons instead of 3
Let the neckline roll and use a shawl pin to close up the placket.
You could even incorporate laces for the raglan closure.
I used Blue Sky Alpaca Dyed Cotton but I must say I was a little disappointed with the results in that it pilled after wearing a grand total of 2 times. I still wear it but every once in a while I have to go over it with a razor.
This is my first free pattern. I hope you enjoy it!
Special thanks to my test knitters Moilulu, Faerieandpixies, LenaL, WallflowerGirl, and likelyyarns
And special thanks to mortainefor tech editing the pattern.
