Sizing:
Child(Woman), to fit head circumference: 20(22)”/50-52/56-57 cm
Finished hat circumference is 15(17)”/38(43) cm.
The hat is designed to be worn with negative ease to fit head circumference: ~20(22)”/50-52(56-57)]cm
By adjusting the needle size and using different yarn you will get different size alterations.

Gauge:
Children’s version: 28 sts & 32 rows = 4”/10 cm in Cable pattern with larger (US 6/4 mm) needles.
Women’s version: 26 sts & 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in Cable pattern with larger (US 9/5,5 mm) needles.

CHILD: Choose DK-Weight Yarn, you need approx. 1 skein/225yds/206m.
WOMEN: Choose Worsted Weight Yarn. The sample was knitted in Malabrigo Yarn Rios (100% merino wool, 100g – 210 yds/192 m per skein),
You need approx. 1 skeins or 200yds/180m.
The sample shown was knitted in women’s size in colorway Sand Bank.
Needles:
CHILD’s version: US 4 3.5 mm 16”/40 cm & US 6 4 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles and US 6/4 mm dpns for crown shaping if preferred.
WOMEN’s version: US 7 4,5 mm 16”/40 cm & US 9 5,5 mm 16”/40 cm circular needles and US 9/5,5 mm dpns for crown shaping if preferred.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
