Man’s Socks, French Heel and Flat Toe

A top-down man’s vintage sock with a French heel and a nice flat toe, worked in one peice. Some slight calf shaping and an interesting heel make for an unusual vintage pattern to get your teeth into, and at a nice reasonable gauge, very adaptable for modern feet!

This pattern is out of copyright.

In the 11th and 12th Editions, the recommended yarns are:
4oz Paton’s Rose Fingering, 4 Ply
OR
4 oz Paton’s White Heather Fingering, 4 Ply.
