Man's String Pullover
This pattern uses three strands held together. The magazine says a spool of Knit-Cro-Sheen is 350 yards. It calls for 12 spools for sizes Small and Medium and 15 spools for size Large.
Stockinette Stitch (crossed):

Row 1 (RS): Knit through the back loop of each stitch across.
Row 2 (WS): Purl across.
Finished Chest Sizes: 38-40 (42-44, 46-48) inches
The pattern is featured in the “White is Sporty” article and is the cover photo. There is a Woman’s Version. There is no schematic.
The sleeves are 19.5-20 inches long.
The neckline is a wide scoop that is close to a boat-neck.
