A twisted ridge design follows the shaping of the hat and mittens.
Mittens have a gusseted thumb, and are mirrored.

1 skein for hat,
2 skeins for mittens.
US6 (4mm) or size needed to achieve gauge.
Stitch markers, Smooth light yarn for holding thumb gusset &
Tapestry needle
Gauge - 17 stitches & 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
Finished size - Hat is 18” un-stretched and 21+” stretched. 8 1/2 inches high.
Mittens - 10 1/2 inches high and 7 inches around at palm.

Size adjustments can be made by altering gauge and rows worked.
