Mansfield Shawl
The Mansfield Shawl is a quick top-down crochet shawl. The shawl is worked, beginning with a long foundation single crochet chain (see link to great tutorials on my blog if you are not familiar with doing Fsc) that gradually decrease, then the lace edging is worked on along edge.
Spice up the shawl by adding a contrasting color (CC 20-25 yds) to the last row of the lace edge.

MATERIAL
Yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light (50% Superfine Alpaca,
50% Peruvian Wool; 144 yds 133m/50g); 3 skeins.
Hook: US I/9 (5.50 mm) or size to obtain gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle
GAUGE: 16 sts = 4” in sc; unblocked.
