Mantaray is a slightly cropped, reversible, Summer or Fall top worked flat in two pieces featuring a wrap-around layer that is tied with I-cords. The winged shape of the Front is reminiscent of the solitary and serene sea creature, the manta ray.

Recommended Yarn: Any Worsted or Aran weight blend of cotton, linen or similar bast or cellulose fibre yarn.

GAUGE
16 sts x 24 rows = 10 cm/4 inches in Stockinette st with larger needle, blocked.

Yarn used in sample: 7 (8, 9, 11, 12) skeins of Quince & Co. Kestrel (100% linen, 69 m/ 76yds - 50g)

This yarn is hard to substitute due to it’s unique structure, however, in light of recent events surrounding the above mentioned yarn company, I suggest purchasing yarn from a company that is transparent in their support of past and present employees and clearly demonstrates what beliefs they uphold.
