Manyara
This beret is worked in the round from the bottom-up with a fun stripe pattern. The coordinating cowl is worked in the round; the resulting “wrong side” also has an attractive pattern.

Manos del Uruguay SILK BLEND (70% extrafine merino wool, 30% silk; approx. 50g/150 yds), 1 sk each color for hat; 1 (1, 2) sk each color for cowl.

US 4/3.5mm ndls, 16” and 24” circular, or 1–2 sizes smaller than gauge needle
US 6/4mm ndls, 16” and 24” circular and set of double-pointed, or size to obtain gauge
