I want to feel the delightful bounce of this yarn right against my skin, as it’s the Goldilocks level of woolliness: not the least bit scratchy, but far from slinky or superwashed. This is 100% wool, no doubt about it, and it shows in every stitch on this textured, cozy cowl. I’ve used a favorite stitch with a boring name, the Diagonal Crossed Stitch, which in this color reminds me a bit of brown sugar or maple sugar candies. This bandana-style cowl uses short rows to shape the point and accents said point with two jaunty tassels.
