This is the pattern for the vest version of Alice Starmore’s classic Mara cardigan from The Scottish Collection: 29 Designs in Fine Scottish Wool, long out of print and almost impossible to find. Thirteen colors are used to create this glorious Fair Isle vest with steeks and shaped armholes.

NOTE: I used the photo for my sweater, where I used the vest pattern and added tapered sleeves. The pattern is NOT in This Morning, Woolcraft! I have worn the sweater so much that it would no longer show the beautiful pattern clearly enough.
