Maras cardigan is a collared cardigan with relaxed sizing and cropped length. Knitted bottom up, the main body and sleeves use waffle knit stitches, and the hem and cuffs are folded double. To begin, work the double hem, then continue to work the body with flat knitting. After dividing the front (left and right) and back at the underarm, shape the shoulders and neckline using the German Short Rows. After binding the shoulders, work the sleeves by picking up stitches from the armholes and continue knitting to create the double cuffs. The ribbed button band is attached from the front edge, and the collar is knit with the stockinette stitch.
