Simply refrain from adding the adorable crochet picot trim on jacket and beret, and leave off the bow. Voila: you have a chic, European-feeling outfit, with a hearty box stitch on the body and sleeves, very rugged and macho in the right colourway. Sleeves are a pure drop, and all the buttonbands and beret brim are in garter stitch, which could hardly be easier. Sized to fit tots from birth through two years.
