Inspiration.
Marcia Shorties are summer inspired, so it was fitting that they were short and comfortable. The yarn used has so much color and are so bright that it was not necessary to put a particular texture, so I chose to create a more fun shape that adapts to different types of feet. That’s why it has an angled toe so you know which is the right and left sock, ideal for Greek and Egyptian feet. They have an ergonomic shape that goes under the heel for a better fit and a garter reinforcement so that it wears less. They end in a small elastic with short rows so that they are longer in the back than in the front and so the footwear does not eat into the socks.
Yarn
1 Skein Regia Cotton Color: 72% Cotton, 18% Polyamide, 10% Polyester. 420m/100g
In the example: the color used is Dragon Fruit 02419, 55g size M, 25cm (9 7/8’’) foot length.
Suggested yarn, any natural yarn fingering weigh fort socks. Remember that the foot sweats, and it is important to use natural fibers to avoid inconveniences.
Tools
2.25mm (US 1) Needles, 100cm (40’’) long to knit in Magic Loop.
You can also knit them with DPN’s or short Circular Needles.
Scissors, Tapestry Needle, 2 Ring Markers and 1 Removable Marker.
Gauge
32 stitches x 42 rows, in 10cm (4’’), knitted in circular with 2.25mm (US 1) needles in stocking stitch. Unlocked.

Inspiración.
Los Marcia Shorties están inspirados en el verano, por lo tanto, era conveniente que fueran cortos y cómodos. El hilado utilizado tiene tanto color y son tan brillantes que no era necesario poner una textura en particular, así que elegí crear una forma más divertida y que se adapte a distintos tipos de pies. Es por eso que tiene una puntera en ángulo para que sepas cuál es el calcetín derecho e izquierdo, ideal para pies griegos y egipcios. Tienen una forma ergonómica que va bajo el talón para mejor calce, un refuerzo del calcetín en punto correteado para que se desgaste menos. Terminan en un pequeño elástico con envueltas cortas para que queden más largos atrás que adelante y así el calzado no se coma los calcetines.

En el ejemplo: el color utilizado es Fruta del Dragón 02419, 55g talla M, 25cm largo del pie.
Hilado sugerido, cualquier hilado natural para calcetines de grosor Fingering. Recordar que el pie suda y es importante el uso de fibras naturales para evitar inconvenientes.
Herramientas
Aguja 2.25mm, 100cm de largo para tejer en Magic Loop.
También puedes tejerlos con DPN’s o Agujas Circulares cortas.
Tijera, Aguja lanera, 2 Marcadores de argolla y 1 Marcador Removible.
Muestra
32 puntos x 42 vueltas, en 10cm, tejido en circular con agujas 2.25mm en punto jersey. Sin bloquear.
