Margrethe Tea Cozy (Margrethe Tehætte) is a tea cozy perfect for keeping the teapot warm. The cozy is knitted in a daisy pattern in honor of Queen Margrethe II on the outside and stripes on the inside. The outside of the tea cozy can also be knitted with stripes instead of the ice flower pattern or just in one color if you prefer a simpler look. If you knit without the pattern, the cozy will not keep as warm as when worked in the pattern. The tea cozy in the picture is knitted in Organic Merino 225 in the White and Midnight by Mumilumi.
