Knitted top-down in floaty fingering-weight linen that only improves with wear, she features a plunging V-neck, slipped stitches, delicate eyelets, and sweet picot edges – details that look effortlessly summery and feel oh-so-special.

Tiny eyelets shape her body into a gentle A-line, finishing with a lace hem that is as entertaining to knit as it is pretty to wear, and a final picot edge, falling just so over high-waisted skirts, trousers, and jeans.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 3/3.25 mm & US 1/2.25 mm circular needles at least 32”/80 cm long and also US 1/2.25 mm needles for knitting small circumferences.

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Waste yarn or stitch holders, yarn needle, 2 stitch markers (1 different from the other to mark beginning of round).

YARN
Approx. 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7, 7, 7) (8, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Quince & Co. Sparrow (100% organic linen, 168 yds/155 m per 50g skein) in “Viburnum”.

If substituting yarn, approx. 550 (590, 630, 680, 770, 830) (920, 980, 1070, 1120, 1160) (1220, 1270, 1330, 1380) yds/500 (540, 580,
620, 700, 760) (840, 900, 980, 1020, 1060) (1120, 1160, 1220, 1260) m of fingering weight yarn.

GAUGE
25 sts and 35 rnds and rows = 4”/10 cm with US 3/3.25 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after blocking.

21 sts and 35 rnds = 4”/10 cm with US 1/2.25 mm needles in lace pattern at hem, after blocking.
