This is a pattern for a beanie style hat, worked from the bottom up and in the round, using the stranded colourwork technique.

yarn:
Shetland Yarn Sport weight by Valley View Farm; sport weight; 100% Shetland Wool; 200yds / 183m / 65g
approximate yarn amounts:
colour A (Off White) - 48g; 148yds / 135m
colours B (Brown) - 42g; 130yds / 119m
needles:
Some knitters work stranded at a different gauge than single-colour. Please change needles as needed.
2.75 & 3.25mm
gauge:
26 sts x 27 rows stranded colourwork on larger needles
approximate finished size:
one size fits many 21-25 in/53cm-63.5 cm head
