A sideways bias knit shawlette
The Marina shawlette makes a great take-along project. With short easily memorizable body and border repeats you can cast on and go. Wrong side rows are all “resting” (purled all the way across).
Preciosa, a single spun merino yarn, makes this worsted weight shawl warm yet still light and airy.
The sample shown uses a single skein, but the pattern can easily be elongated into a full shawl by using another skein (or two if you fancy very large blanket-like shawls).
