Size: S / M / L
small: width 156 cm, depth 82 cm
medium: width 173 cm, depth 90 cm
large: width 203 cm, depth 100 cm
Yarn: Category DK of 180-220 m/100 g.
Total Yardage: approx. 540 / 620 / 720 m, or 300 / 340 / 400 g, or 3 / 3,5 / 4 skeins.
Using two colors: 2 skeins for each color (400 g in total) are enough for all sizes
Using three colors: 1 skein of each color (300 g in total) is enough for size SMALL
Using four colors: 1 skein of each color (400 g in total) is enough for all sizes
Reference photos: DK, Merino-Linen 90/10, hand dyed. 180 m/100 g
Gauge: 12 sts / 12 rows in brioche = 10 x 10 cm after blocking. Gauge is affecting final measurements and yardage.
Needles: Size 5.0 mm (or corresponding size to achieve gauge) on cables. It’s good to have cables of length 40/80/120 mm on hand. Start with the shortest cable and increase length when needed. The i-chord border is knitted with size 6.0 mm.
Extras: A tapestry needle to weave in yarn
ends and a measure tape.
