This listing is for my Mariposa Shawl crochet pattern. This pattern is offered for sale as a digital file (pdf), available for you to download directly from Ravelry once your payment has been processed. Please note, you are not buying a shawl, you are buying a crochet pattern (instructions) to make your own just like my samples.

Mariposa means butterfly in spanish. The scalloped edge of this shawl reminds me of the Comma butterfly. This feminine shawl will surely be a hit.

I used less than one skein of Lion Brand Summer Nights. You can use any other #1 weight yarn to achieve this look.

You may use any weight yarn ranging from fingering to chunky with a corresponding hook. Because gauge is not important for this pattern, you can continue working the pattern until you have achieved the desired width.

There is no wrong or right side to this pattern.

This pattern is written in US terms.

You may not use my photos or copy, sell or distribute my pattern. You may sell a finished product but, please include JustHandcrafts in the credits.

Thank you and have a great day!
